514 866-8854Marie Laverdure is a member of the Family Law and Youth Protection team at Dunton Rainville’s Montréal office.
Ms. Laverdure completed a bachelor’s degree in nursing at McGill University and was a graduate of the Ordre des infirmiers et infirmières du Québec (OIIQ), before undertaking a bachelor’s degree in law at the Université de Montréal. During her law studies, she set up an inter-faculty moot court competition in family law and held the position of research assistant. She took part in several moot court competitions during her time at the faculty, receiving several distinctions in the process, including a bursary of excellence for her participation in a national competition in criminal law.
Prior to joining Dunton Rainville, Ms. Laverdure worked as a law student in a firm specializing in family law. She also conducted research in the field of children’s law for the Fondation Dr Julien.
Ms. Laverdure’s dual training as a lawyer and nurse enables her to adopt a personal and human approach to her family law practice. Me Laverdure works to identify a personalized solution to her clients’ situation.
