Pierre-Yves Arsenault

Pierre-Yves Arsenault was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2000. He is an experienced lawyer whose practice focuses on all aspects of labor and employment law.

Over the years, he has developed particular expertise in occupational health and safety. Mr. Arsenault regularly represents his clients before various Quebec courts in civil, penal and statutory matters. He especially represents his clients before administrative bodies and tribunals.

His highly distinctive expertise in occupational health and safety covers all facets of the Act respecting industrial accidents and occupational diseases, the Act respecting occupational health and safety and all regulations adopted under these two acts. Mr. Arsenault has in-depth knowledge of all the rules governing the financing of the workers’ compensation system. This particular expertise and knowledge make him an invaluable ally for employers wishing to control their CNESST contributions. As such, he acts as a strategic advisor to any company wishing to control the costs associated with occupational injuries, and to implement sound occupational health and safety procedures and policies.
